VARSITY FOR A FASHION STUDENT
My thesis project at FIT was dedicated to the school and inspired by the people I met during my time as a student.
This collection was designed to suit the needs of a fashion design student. This means a need for comfort, extra storage space, and the added value of coolness.

JUXTAPOSITION
Winner of FIT AAS 2021 Fall Exhibit
The theme for this exhibit was “A Fashion Odyssey” which I interpreted as a journey through fashion. I wanted to focus on the contradiction and the collaboration of Western wear and traditional Korean garments as Juxtaposition is a workwear collection influenced by the introduction of Western styles to the Eastern world.

Traditional Hanboks are gendered but the future of fashion is gender-nonconforming. I integrated both feminine and masculine aspects of hanbok to create this collection.
X-RAY
Influenced by my background in martial arts and other contact sports, X-ray was created out of my love for the human body. Knowledge in anatomy, concept development, graphic design, illustration, and design skills were needed for this brand collection.
All clothing and fashion are draped to fit over the skeleton and muscles but I took the inspiration from the inside this time and created an athleisure line with everything on display.
